TransAudio Group hosted the Audio Underground Roadshow at the Village Recorder , Beck, Jeff Beck, Busta Rhymes, Stanley Clarke, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Tori Amos, Ozzy…)
The event, which I spoke at, was a mix of workshops and product demos by A Designs, Bock Microphones, Endless Analog, Tube-Tech, GML, Daking, ATC Loudspeakers, and Drawmer. I filmed Studio D and did 3 mini interviews with guys from ATC, Endless Analog, and Tube-tech.

Whoo-Hoo! Ronan, that show rocked the house! “Passive Happiness,” and Stevie Nicks Decor and of course, all of the way cool Audio Information (admittedly, over my head
and Pro Interviews–HOT!! And yes, the music was pretty darn cool, too–haha!
Thank you!

Ronan, I nominate you for “Studio Porn of the Year”!
What could beat a gorgeous studio with a hot console, a lovely lady working a patch bay, and an MP2A for an outro…all set to some really cool music (good stuff, Kathleen!) mmmpaww! *smacks lips*
Great interviews too…I’m in the process of learning to get our MCI/Sony 1″ 8-track machine back in service while (finally) working up my ProTools chops at the same time so the Endless Analog product has me particularly intrigued…great show all around, my friend! Well done!

One question…who is still making tape anyway…in the studio I was interning in, the 1″ machine has been in the closet since 2004…there is this low grade stuff but you get nicer results from erasing used tapes and using them again.
That Steve guy sure decorated the place pretty…can we hire him out…we have this grey and black thing going here and we want ours to look “Fabulous” too…lol.

It was great to see Heart’s Little Queen shown among the classic albums recorded there. I have long thought the A-side of that album was near perfect.

I agree. When ever I pull that album off the shelf, I am surprised every time at how good that album is. I kind of lost interest in heart from the 80s, but the 70s they were awesome.

You left there? Did they have to drag you out?
That tape thing sounds great—now that eveyone got rid of their tape machines someone shows up with a way to sync them. Phooey! I love tape.
Passive happiness, indeed. Nirvana would be more like it.
I’m suprised you passed up Aja for the Counting Crows.
Another cool show. Are you sure this is work?
